Golf may seem like a low-impact sport to some, but any golfer knows the physical toll a day on the course can take. Walking 18 holes, often across uneven terrain and in hot or humid weather, can easily rack up 5 to 7 miles of movement. One of the most uncomfortable side effects of those miles? Chafing rash.

Chafing happens when skin repeatedly rubs against skin or clothing, leading to painful irritation, redness, and sometimes even blisters. For golfers, the inner thighs are a common hotspot. A beautiful day of golf can quickly turn miserable if you’re battling raw, burning skin halfway through your round.

Why Chafing Happens During Golf

Golfers are particularly prone to chafing legs because of the repetitive walking motion, sweat buildup, and friction from clothing like shorts or golf pants. These shorts keep sweat away from your skin and reduce friction, creating a smooth, protective layer under your golf clothes.   3. Anti-Chafing Balms
